About Virtual Liver Life Walk
Our new Virtual Liver Life Walk will unite us across the country to celebrate, honor and remember our loved ones affected by liver disease.
This 8 week virtual experience includes guided mindfulness exercises, family friendly wellness activities and inspiring video messaging, and will culminate on May 30 to bring together the ALF community in a safe and healthy environment.
Your fundraising and participation will bring awareness to liver disease and provide financial support for our educational programs and patient services offered to the millions of Americans battling one of the 100 known liver diseases.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did Liver Life Walk go virtual?
The American Liver Foundation’s greatest concern is the health and well-being of liver patients and those who care for them. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in compliance with the CDC and government guidelines, we made the decision to suspend all ALF in-person gatherings through May 31. To protect the health and safety of our community, we have also redefined our spring and summer Liver Life Walks through June. Instead of hosting large gatherings throughout the next three months, we will bring together the liver community of supporters across the country via a virtual gathering on one date – Saturday, May 30.
Is there a registration fee?
There is no registration fee to participate in the Virtual Liver Life Walk, but we strongly encourage everyone to raise a minimum of $100.
My family will join me at Liver Life Walk. Should they register too?
Yes, all walkers must register to participate in the Virtual Liver Life Walk.
Who do I make checks payable to?
American Liver Foundation. Also remember to include your name in the memo section of each check as this will ensure donations are credited to the correct participant.
